Portland Oregon!

I met a really fantastic guy named Andy who showed me around his summer town, Portland, Oregon! We had this short trip and got to know each other because we're planning a REALLY COOL trip in the Fall!

Andy owns a trekking company! That's a fancy word for a really cool hike! He's going to take me to NEPAL, then to BASE CAMP of MOUNT EVEREST in the Fall! I know you won't be with Miss Tanner, but you may want to check back to see the pictures, I know Miss Tanner and Sam will be checking!

For this trip I got to see a little around his home town of Portland, OR.

I went on the streetcar!

I got to see Organic Eggs!

Organic Bread? It really doesn't look like bread to me!

I found a cool tree to climb, I wonder if Andy will let me climb any trees in Nepal! I heard that Trees don't grow at the top of Mt Everest because its too high!

After all of that I needed a drink!

We talked about what I need to do to get ready for my Mount Everest trip, and WOW do I have to prepare! I have to get in shape, I have to make sure I'm really ready, and I have to make sure we have the right gear! I'm glad we got this chance to get to know each other first here in the US before we went on our Trek!

Thank you Andy for showing me your hometown and thank you for getting me ready for my Everest Trek!

Yorktown Virginia

I made another quick stop in Yorktown Virginia! I have to make these quick stops because I have so many to make! Aunt Laura's long time friend AUDREY and her daughter Abbie who is 5, took me around and showed me the sites. Audrey is from Pittsburgh too! She grew up across the river from Sam's mom in the same town as Aunt Laura.

Yorktown is a really cool place where you can find lots of history! It's most known for its history in the Revolutionary War.

Audrey, Abbie, and Abbie's brother Alex all live near the Army Base, because Audrey is in the Army. She has a pretty cool job in the Army! - She plays in the BAND!!!

This is a picture of her getting ready to play before the Memorial Day concert!

Thank you Audrey and Abbie for showing me the sites, and Thank you Audrey for serving our country!

Utah and Arizona + Grand Canyon

I went on a real adventure with Aunt Laura & Uncle John's Friends Nicole and Matt. Nicole and Matt like to hike so they really wore me out! They hiked EVERYWHERE! They went up and down the Grand Canyon and we saw all kinds of stuff!

You may notice I look a little different here, but its ok, it's still me!! Nicole gave me a makeover :). She thought I should change my clothes.... after all these adventures she said my pants needed to be washed!

Check out my little slideshow!

Thank you Nicole and Matt for taking me on your vacation!

Old Town Kissimmee Florida!

I met Aunt Laura's cousin Sonya today. She has two children Scott, 8 yrs old and Aiyana, 3 yrs old. Scott and Aiyana showed me around Old Town Kissimmee Florida today!

Aiyana made sure I was buckled up for the ride!
If any of you have been to Disney World, Kissimmee is just around the corner! It was a small trading post for a very long time, then when Disney came to town, lots of fun stuff was added.

In Old Town, they have, well lots of old stuff that looks really cool! - this is an old stove!

This was a really big alligator!!

This was really cool.. we saw a replica of the HERBIE car! He even spit water at me!!!

After all of this, we got to ride on lots of RIDES and ROLLER COASTERS! Boy it was fun!

Thank you Sonya, Aiyana, and Scott for showing me around Old Town and for having fun!

Bejing China

I made a really quick stop in Bejing China today! Uncle John's cousin Susie teaches elementary school in CHINA! Maybe someday she'll send a flat stanley from there!

She asked a friend to take me on a quick ride around town and we saw the "Birdsnest"

Did any of you watch the Olympics? This is where lots of activities for the Olympics happened! It was very cool to see this!

Coventry City UK

I made it to the United Kingdom again! This time to a cool city called Coventry City! I came to visit Aunt Laura's friend Andrea. I met her two sons Evan and Alex who showed me some really cool stuff in their town! Evan is 9 and in Year 4 (remember how they say grades in UK?) and Alex is 5 and is in Year 1!

Coventry City is pretty cool, its the CAR CAPITAL of the world! Most cars we love were designed or built in this city! It is also famous for its Spires (new word I just learned) that means pyramids or as I remember it "tall things" - but its for their cathedrals and churches.

First they took me to the Coventry Football Stadium. Did you know that they call soccer FOOTBALL in Europe? They think our football is funny!
This is me in front of a really old firetruck!
This is me, Evan, and Alex in front of one of the first car's built in Coventry!

This is me in front of a very old tank!
This is really cool! its "THURST 2" Richard Noble drove it 633 MPH in October 1983! This was the fastest car ever at the time!

This is Thurst SCC, Andy Green drove it 766 MPH in October 1997 and it is now the world record for the fastest car!

This is in front of the Old Cathedral - there's no roof left!

This was outside of the New Cathedral, its a statue of St. Michael and the Devil.

Thank you to my new friends Evan, Alex and Andrea for taking the time to show me around!

Flying in Vermont

Uncle John was very jealous of me on this adventure, Uncle John said that is soooo coool!

I got to FLY in a little airplane with Aunt Laura's Friend Andy. We flew from Massachusetts to Sugar Bush Vermont! Andy had some friends flying around us, they took a picture of our Cherokee Plane from above!

When we got there, Andy (front seat) and his friend Instructor-Dave (back seat) took a ride in a really small Glider! It was even too small for me so I watched from the ground!

Thank you Andy for taking me on a really cool ride!
