Today I went with Uncle John to his work where I helped him and his friend Roger to make stickers. They used a big complicated printer called a "Press". Instead of using single pieces of paper to print on like the printers you may have at home, they use very big rolls of sticker paper.
The roll of sticker paper is put into the front of the press and runs up and down and up and down many times where it presses an image onto the sticker paper. The sticker paper then gets rolled back up at the end of the press.
The picture on the sticker is made like a rubber stamp. Have you ever used a stamp before? Did you know that you that you can use a stamp on a machine to make lots and lots of stickers?? Cool!! It was fun to watch the rubber stamp spin round and round and press an image onto the sticker paper but it made me a little dizzy.
Uncle John gets to bring his two dogs Apollo and Gemini to work with him everyday.
Apollo and Gemini introduced me to there two friends, Guido and Liam. Guido is a dog too but Liam is a baby boy that comes to work with his mommy. We all had fun helping Uncle John and everyone else at work make stickers.
