Boston Public Garden & Boston Common

There are two really cool parks that we walked through. We walked about 1 mile to this place called "The Public Garden", it was very pretty. There were kids, dogs, squirrels, ducks, pigeons, birds, flowers, and grass everywhere.

When we got there we saw these Duck Statues, Aunt Laura told me that they were from a Children's book called "Make Way for Ducklings." They were really cool, the first one, Mama duck was REALLY big!

We just sat around for a little bit after the ducks, because Gemini was very tired! (She's an old dog). Everyone was coming to pet her so it was nice. I gave both her and Apollo some water while we rested.

As we left we saw this big building with a GOLD dome on top. This is the Massachusetts "State House." Its where all the law makers work. I think it's nice that it's right next to the park!

As we left the "Garden" we walked back through "the Common" - they have these big "SWAN" boats. Can you see it in the background? Pretty cool! The line was really long and we had the dogs, so we didn't go for a ride!
